Host a Student!
Hosting a student is such a wonderful experience. If you have young children, it's a great opportunity to introduce them to a new older child, a new language and a new world view. If you have teenaged children, they'll have a new buddy for the year. If your children are grown, well, it reminds you how much fun it was to have kids who want to learn all the time.

Gabriel's school was very small and they don't have football in Chile so he'd never done homecoming... or tied a tie!
For the kids, it's all about the bling! Thib (France) is quite jealous of Shea (rebound from France). Shea worked hard for every button and pin!

Gabriel's Chilean Rotary taught him how to make empanadas from scratch and he made them for our family on Sept. 19, the Chilean National holiday.

She was the first exchange student ever from Nepal. She is blind and an amazing host family stepped up to provide the experience of a lifetime - including tubing at Snoqualmie Pass!
